The manner in which the information is to be provided
The legally required information for consumers must be provided to the consumer in a way appropriate to the means of distance communication used (e.g. internet, telephone, fax) in plain and intelligible language. This means, for example, that in the case of contracts concluded by telephone, information can also be provided orally.
Info PLEASE NOTE
In the event that the online shop operator provides the legally required information for consumers on a durable medium (→ oesterreich.gv.at) (e.g. email or CD-Rom).
The consumer must be provided with confirmation of the contract concluded on a durable medium at the latest at the time of delivery of the goods or before the start of the provision of the service, unless that information has already been provided on a
durable medium (→ oesterreich.gv.at) before the conclusion of the contract. That durable medium must contain the legally required information for consumers.
The information provided to the consumer becomes an integral part of the contract. Subsequent changes to the information provided by the online shop operator become legally effective only if they have also been expressly agreed between the contracting parties.
