Loss or erroneous supply of toxic substances

General information

The loss or erroneous supply of toxins according to § 35 Chemiekaliengesetz 1996 must be immediately notified to the district administrative authority or the police. The competent authority must notify the population of the dangers posed by these toxic substances.

Losses are notified by manufacturers, sellers, purchasers, users and waste treatment operators.

Enterprises affected

These rules apply to all natural and legal persons who place or make the chemicals in question available on the market in Austria or use said chemicals in Austria.
