Measurement and verification – Operation of a public scale station

General information

Public scale stations are legal entities which have been authorised by official decision of the verification authority to weigh products and issue certificates on the result of such weighing.

Requirements

Satisfaction of requirements as defined in Section 62a of the Maß- und Eichgesetz – MEG as well as in the Ordinance Concerning Public Scale Stations issued by the Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying on 11 Oct 1995.
