Hazardous waste and POP waste – Waybill notification

General information

For each takeover of hazardous waste or of POP waste (hazardous or non-hazardous) subject to the provision of a waybill [Begleitschein] by a different legal person, the waybill data have to be reported to the competent authority electronically, by way of edm.gv.at ( BMK) within six weeks.

Please note

For problematic materials, there is no obligation to provide a waybill. Problematic materials are hazardous wastes generated in private households or comparable establishments – as long as they are held by the original waste producer.

Also hazardous waste from companies may be regarded as problematic materials if they are, in terms of type and quantity, comparable to hazardous waste generated in private households.
